Mac Office 2011 Document Connection

I realize it's a really recent release and probably not thought about yet but has anyone tried connecting Office for Mac 2011 Document Connection to the Alfresco Sharepoint protocol?

Any suggestions on if this can or will work?

The implementation for Mac Office 2008 is currently under testing. I realise that's a bit late, but obviously the Windows versions have to take priority. Hopefully the 2011 protocols will be very similar.

I can confirm that Office for Mac 2011 does NOT currently connect to Alfresco Community Edition 3.4b.
