Link to document from external website

Is there a way to have an external website link to a document in the alfresco system?  This would be great if we could accomplish this.

Any ideas on this?

You can do this using the 'guest=true' argument on a URL for an Alfresco resource. Of course you will need to make the item accessable by the Guest user first.
