link 2 documents in the same space

i have 2 documents in the same space. is there a way i can create a link between both of them? (apart from using "add resources" when doing a workflow?) since am not doing a workflow now. am using 3.2r2 version. this is very important when you have correspondence relating to the original document.

Yes you can add an secondary association between two documents.   It's nothing to do with workflow.
