Hi,

When I try to upgrade from 3.2 to 3.2 SP1 , I am getting message as Invalid License.
And then the system throws dir.root path is not correct.

Please let me know is it the issue of License?

Thanks,
Patil

Please contact Alfresco support for issues with Alfresco licenses.

And what are the details about "throws dir.root path is not correct."

You are not posting enough information to enable people to help, but it sounds like you have attempted to upgrade and made a mistake.   What did you do?

Hi,
Thanks mrogers for the quick reply.

I followed the below steps

1. stopped alfresco3.2 server and took the backup of alf_data(cold backup)
2. Took the mysql dump which is running with 3.2

3. Installed Alfresco 3.2 SP1
4. Copied the alf_data to the new location refered by 3.2SP1
5. Restored the mysql dump taken from 3.2 setup
6. Started the server by making sure dir.root is pointing to my new alf_data folder, database names are proper

I am getting the below error .

I suspect your "dir.root' is not correct.   It would help if you posted values that we could check.

Also for a minor upgrade like that I'd just back up and put the new war file into the webapps folder.    No faffing around required with installing a new instance.
