I am entirely new to the Alfresco.

1. What is latest version of alfresco (community edition).

2. Is all community edition is carrying the workflow management facility

3. If support workflow management, will it support even for advance level.

what is the name of workflow builder and is it available with alfresco installation kit itself ?

There is Activiti Kickstart, an Eclipse plugin to ease the creation of Activiti Workflows and deploy them to Alfresco.

It's a separated project. It will make easier the work:

To get started just use something like notepad or an xml editor.    There is a graphical modeller for jbpm and activiti that you can use as and when you need them.
