Labs 3: FTP access not working

L.S.,
We installed a fresh alfresco labs 3. If we use any ftp client we can not access or view any directories below "/Alfresco". In "/Alfreso" we only see a couple of files, but not all files which are available. It looks like the ftp is not working correctly.

- We are not running any firewall, active /passive is not an issue
- In "/Alfresco" we can not create any subdirectories, nor upload or download files.

This a an ftp log:
ftp localhost
Connected to localhost.

It looks like the ftp server is not working correctly, the webinterface is working fine however.
Does anyone have a solution or the same problem?

Our version: Version: Labs - v3.0.0 (Stable 1526)

Kind regards,
Robert

It has to be file permissions.
Even though you are the admin, go to the alfresco web interface and check the owner of the files are "admin".

Thank you for your reply,

Owner is admin,
When using webdav, the entire directory structure can be seen.
Only with FTP we have this problem.

Has this issue been resolved? I am facing the same problem. I installed 'alfresco-labs-tomcat-3Stable.tar' at the specified location /opt/alfresco on Ubuntu system
- Folders are not visible/ accessible via FTP
- Though I had an acp file uploaded to Company Home, which was visible, though not downloadable. On trying to download. It gives a 550: Invalid Path error
- On the WebDAV view however it's all fine

This problem appears to be present in the 3.2 release as well.  I was able to ftp in on a fresh install and upload a few files.  The very next time I tried to reconnect, this problem presented itself.  "550 invalid path…"

The ftp client does not matter.
