jBPM needs Alfresco SDK?

Hi, I'm looking for developing a personal workflow…
I'm using Linux 9.04 + Alfresco Labs 3 Stable + MySQL… it's works fine…
But I don't have hunderstands if for developing a custom workflow is necessary the Alfresco SDK, or only the Alfresco Labs with Eclipse and the jBPM plug-in…

No you don't need the SDK for workflow.

And you don't need the Eclipse JBPM plug in either. 

You can create the workflow definition files in a text editor and for simple workflows and small changes this is just fine.

I've just try to create a simple workflow, and it run fine…But now (for my degree stage) I must to create an advance workflow…so I have read that I must use the plugin for eclipse
