JavaScript Node API question

I'm trying to obtain a node creation and modification date and time using Alfresco 1.3.0. Javascript API. But in the Node API I can't see any way to get them. How can I get this node information?

The values you require are standard properties on a node, so something like this will retrieve the values:

var createdDate = mynode.properties["created"];
var modifiedDate = mynode.properties["modified"];
