JavaScript Error

Hiya,

Having installed Alfresco 1.3 Just been working through the Tutorial and on the whole the Tutorial and the screens are a good match (couple of minor things like the sequence of Steps in the Content Rules Wizard is different)  and one major things and that is a jscript error when I was working my way through Forums and Discussions.

The following error occurs when I select reply to any post.
A Runtime Error has occured.
Do you wish to debug?

Error: document.getElementById(…) is null or not an object

The actual line of jscript in question is as follows:

document.getElementById("dialog:dialog-body:message").focus();

Currently using IE 6.0.2900

Hi,

You're correct, the order of the Rules Wizard steps did indeed change.

The other error you mention was fixed in the Enterprise version of 1.3. This fix has now been merged back to the HEAD branch so if you were to get the latest code from SVN you should find that it's fixed.

Obviously this will also be in the 1.4 preview release being released in the next few weeks.
