Javascript blocks object

When I add a server side javascript to a rule that triggers when an object is created inside this folder and all conditions are true this works well if an object is moved from one folder in alfresco share to another one.
But it is not possible in this case to move an object by ftp or imap into such an folder.
It seems that the javascripts is started before the object is completely put into the folder - this results in an error.

How to solve this situation?

When you FTP into a folder the automatic metadata mapping that is carried out when you upload manually doesn't happen. You have to add another rule to your folder which is a standard option called "Extract common metadata" and make sure that runes before your custom rule.

Do that and all should be well.
