I have uploaded a tentative translation of Language Pack.

You may get it from here:

As it is double byte, the file is encoded as UTF-8.

I hope somebody check the length of menu and messages and
change the encoding.

Hi,

I also made a Japanese language pack for V1.2 because we needed more files and entries than RC6 days.

I uploaded my draft on my server temporarily:

This is the very first version, so might include lots of mistakes. But anyway it covers almost all entries.

I've added this to the SourceForge language packs - let me know if you're unhappy with that and I will take it down again. 

A great job - we really appreciate the people that take the time to make Alfresco more international.
