hi, I have an odd issue im trying to resolve. I have a client who wants to run Alfresco on one of thier servers.
I install alfresco community edition on ClearosOS 6.5 and once I start it all flexshares are unavilable. I check in webconfig and it says the service is still running, I ssh in and restart smb and they are still unavilable. however I uninstall alfresco community and the flexshares are once again available. anyone have any ideas as to whats going on here, ive been trying to solve the issue for a couple of days now. could it be an issue with the sharepoint protocol?

The samba server and alfresco are both providing a smb service, omly one can win.   Disable one of them or run each smb on a separate IP address.

ok, how do I disable the smb side of alfresco so we just have the web interface as thats basically what we are after.  is it possible to have the web interface integrate with exi?sting smb shares

Hi

Is it possible to use a Ubuntu server running samba, to integrate with Alfresco on a Windows 2008 server?

Any pointers
