is the FTP service should be running in Alfresco

Hi All,
Is the FTP service should be mandatory in the alfresco instance for the "AAAR_Extract.sh" to work.
What happens If the service is not running or if I give the wrong port no in the configuration steps

Hi Bisana,

The FTP service is not used by the extractor (AAAR_Extract script) but is mandatory for the publisher (AAAR_Publish script).
