I have allready Tomcat and MySQL setup on my Linux Fedora Machine.
I want to setup Alfresco 4.0. for Document Management.
Can I just follow the "Installing the Alfresco WAR " steps given in Alfresc Help?. or before that I need to have the Alfresco installation done using the alfresco-community-4.0.d-installer-linux-x64.bin or x-32.bin ??

I am bit confused with the Installation Instructions….

Thanks,
Ravi

You do not need to explicitly install the Alfresco.bin.
Two way you can deploy the alfresco.
Either Alfresco complete installation where tomcat mysql and all the tomcat all are dedicated to single alfresco instance.
The other way is to just deploy Alfresco.war.

If you are starting up with alfresco then better install a complete page where installer will automatically install everything for you.
Also 32 or 64 bit is depends on the machine where you want to deploy.
