Is it all data store in MySQL?

Hello,
I just finish setup Alfresco in Tomcat and MySQL. I build the war file in Eclipse.
It work successfully and i am able view the table of Alfresco in MySQL Query browser. In there got a lot of table which start with alf_* and jbpm_*.
I wonder that is it all data is store in this MySQL database table?
For example, is it when I create a new user, then all the information will store inside there include the password?
Or it also will store some where else?

The data is stored in $ALF_HOME/alf_data/contentstore in a form of binary file
