Invites not Sending

Brand new install of Alfresco 40e on Windows.  The test email sends just fine but an invite to the same email address will not send.  No errors in the logs (unless I'm not seeing all of them - %tomcat_home%\logs).

Is it really this difficult?

If I need to be jumping through hoops in order to get this working, I would prefer simply to use manual account creation.

Is this possible?  I can send my own invites if I can create accounts.

Have you turned on external invitations?

notification.email.siteinvite=true

Yep - working now.  And after some hours, I am close.  I did manage to find that we need to set repo.remote.url in order to properly identify the server in the email notifications.  However, I have set Share to be the ROOT app so that I don't have to give people this instruction (just tell them to go to share.example.com).

How do I update the email template to account for this?  It automatically pushes serverUrl/share.  I just want serverUrl/.

Possible?

Hello,

I have the same problem … invites not sent.  I receive the notification that the email system is working properly and the external invitations is turned on (notification.email.siteinvite=true).  Within Alfresco Share it shows the email has been sent with no errors?  Any suggestions?  What about the registered senders configuration?

Thanks

Sounds like the problem is not with your alfresco configuration.

Perhaps your email server has an overly aggressive spam filter?
