invite user to site

hii everyone…

i'm new and first time use alfresco…
i have problem which is to invite user at my site…
there are failed to invite…
anybody know why there are failed??
please help me to solve this problem…
i try find the solution from internet but still cannot solve this problem..
help me..

You need to find your Alfresco.log file and post any errors, otherwise no-one can help you.

I suspect that you havn't configured your email server but without more details from you then its impossible to help.

When you say "failed to invite", does that mean they didn't get an email saying they were invited? Or do you mean that the user is not on the list of people who can see the space you invited them to.

For the former, there are two common causes. The first is that you forgot to click the Yes button for sending email to do the invitation. The second cause is that you have not configured the email portion of Alfresco to send email to your local server.
