Integration with external IT systems

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some good example, tutorial, experience in integration of Alfresco with some external IT systems (some open source ERP, CRM, HRM, e-commerce, some external DB…) of course, with using of workflow processes (especially with Activiti BPM engine).

So please, share your experience when Alfresco/Activity have to consume services of external systems, for e.g.:
- WebServices/SOAP,
- JMS,
- connecting to some DB over some custom Java/JDBC code,
- calling some functionality over some API,
- something else…

Is there some good use case which is live, in production with such similar parameters?
