Hello everybody,
we're currently testing Alfresco Community Edition but I have some questions regarding the integration with IBM enviroments.
I'd like to know if it is possible integrate Alfresco in WebSphere Portal 6.0 running JVM 1.4.2., otherwise if are released any workaround or tutorial. I'll appreciate any feedback to solve this problem, thanks a lot.
Best regards.

It depends upon what you mean by "integrate with".   You could have a portlet accessing a resource in Alfresco running on another AS without problem.

But I'm assuming that you mean you want to run the alfresco server on IBM WebSphere Portal 6.0 which is now seriously old and out of date.

Your first problem will be the JVM version.   You can probably run WebSphere on a more up to date JVM and you should look at doing this. Or upgrading to a later service pack of WebSphere.    From the dim depths of my memory I think 6.1 came with a version 5 JVM?

3.3 needs version 6 of Java.
3.2 needs version 5 of Java.
2.1 may run on version 4.
