integrate alfresco in an external application

i like to integrate alfresco ged in a web aplication(i did it with jsf , weblogic server , oracle database).
what's the suitable method to do that?

What's "alfresco ged"?   I've never heard of it.

The options are you embed alfresco in your java web application or you use some of Alfesco's remote APIs in your app.
