Hi All,
I am new to alfresco. Have been searching on forums for similar cases and environment requests but no luck. I need to install alfresco on Bugzilla Server which runs in Centos6.5 64 bit. Bugzilla server is actively being used by people in our little company, hence  before I start doing anything I want to be sure in advance of steps I need to take in order to avoid any possible issues during and after the installation or even disrupt service on Bugzilla Server of the company.
For your information I've had successful installation of alfresco community using automatic installer on VM Virtual Box running RHEL 7. I've been trying manual install of alfresco on a 32 bit Centos6.6 VM (V.Box) ( where I got bugzilla server installed for practice purpose), although alfresco and tomcat seemed be to running on terminal I have not been able to access it via http://localhost:8080/alfresco  nor ../share..various errors appears such 404 etc. I've been using this environment to install alfresco (manually or via installer) so it would match environment on Real Bugzilla server. Because there is no 32 bit version of binary alfresco for linux, my only option left is to use binary (installer) on Bugzilla Company Server. Im however terrified for possible issues that might cause to Server in use (no backup in place for system) so before I do that I needed some help.

Could someone give me some instructions for this specific case..

How to integrate or make Bugzilla server and alfresco work on same physical machine using same IP..?if that is possible or recommended… at the moment bugzilla server is accessed via http://IP/ .

respectively domain name resolution is bugzilla.companyname.co.uk.
I would assume that after installation of alfresco I have to configure httpd.conf file

Or is any other better solution e.g. installing a virtual environment on same physical machine where I could install alfresco…without disrupting Bugzilla Server.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

shouldnt be a problem as longas you have sufficient resourses,  in particular memory.    You need to be able to dedicate a minimum of approx 2GB for alfresco.

I'm updating my results….I have done successful installation of alfresco community 5.0c on the same physical server where bugzilla has been running. I've used advanced method for alfresco installation and setup all the necessary parameters .e.g required IP (domain) and service ports.

Thanks a lot…
