Installing Alfresco on Amazon Server using Putty

Can someone help me out here? The instructions for the the Alfresco install that I received were local. Can someone tell me how to install Alfresco with Putty on a remote server?

Hi,

You'll need to ensure that all the prerequisites are installed
* JDK 5.x
* Openoffice for transformations
* MySQL if you want to use it
You should be able to use your package getting tool to install these (e.g. yum)

Use wget to get the tomcat tar.gz bundle off sourceforge.
Extract the tar.gz file to a location.
Configure it to your requirements (see the wiki for info)
Run Tomcat.
