Installing Alfresco 3.3 with external database

Hi there,

anybody using alfresco in combination with an external database (mysql) on two separate machines?
Background: Don't want to spend to much storage on the alfresco server

Yes, alfresco (3.3.1) on one server, database (mysql) on another.  We do currently have the filestore on the same server as Alfresco, though we could move that to another server and nfs mount the disk,

In alfresco-global.properties specify the JDBC url of your db server.
