After running ant demo.start everything seems to run smooth but when the browser-windows open, in every window I get the tomcat-message (with the related activiti-part): ======================================= HTTP Status 404 - /activiti-kickstart type Status report message /activiti-kickstart description The requested resource (/activiti-kickstart) is not available. Apache Tomcat/6.0.32" =======================================
From ant I get the following protokoll: ======================================= Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

Even after I retry nothing changes. I tried it with the tomcat 7.0 version too, with the same effect.
I run a Dell Inspiron 9400 Intel Core 2 CPU T5600@1,83 GHz, 3,25/4 GB RAM on Windows XP Professional SP3
You should be able to get the Activiti Explorer running with an in-memory H2 database without needing additional configuration. But if you want to keep the data even after a database restart then you really need the standalone H2 database.
