Install WCM on Weblogic

Hi,

I have deployed alfresco on weblogic. Now, I want to install WCM.

Could you please help me on this? What are the steps required to install WCM on weblogic server. I am using Weblogic server 10.3.3.

Do I just need to copy wcm-bootstrap-context.xml file to {WL_DOMAIN}/lib/alfresco/extension folder?

Where to put the other artifacts available with WCM installation like - virtual server and all.

Any guidance would be really helpful.

Thanks,
Ramesh

The V.S. has to run on its own Tomcat 5.5 instance which the installer will install for you.

And you are correct that all you need is the wcm bootstrap file.

Thank you for the quick response.

I have just placed the wcm-bootstrap-context.xml into the specified and just restarted the weblogic server.

However, still I could not see the web project folder created underneath Company home.

I have not run the WCM installer as only wcm-bootstrap-context.xml is required to have WCM setup on weblogic server.

If I require, virtual tomcat functionality, mainly for preview, I should run the installer. Is it correct?

Thanks,
Ramesh

Just got the solution.

If I copy wcm-bootstrap-context.xml file to {WL_DOMAIN}/lib/alfresco/extension folder, it is not working.

However, in the alfresco.war - WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/extension folder and redeploy the war again, It started showing me the 'Web Projects' and 'Web Forms' folders as a part of WCM installation.
