Install problem

I installed Alfresco for Windows (alfresco-1.2.1-windows-community.exe). I try to run it. But Tomcat shows the exception:

org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (Access denied for user 'alfresco'@'localhost' (using password: YES)) ‍‍‍

Hi,

This means that Alfresco is unable to connect to the database using the configured username/password.

If you're using the default configuration then make sure your database has a database called alfresco and a user called alfresco who is granted all priviledges to it.

Alfresco comes with a script that does this for you. The script is called db_setup.
