Install issues on RHEL5

Hi,

I am in the process of installing 3.2 community edition. I followed the install guide successfully, until I ran 'alfresco.sh start' when IO received the following message:

Using CATALINA_BASE:   /opt/Alfresco/tomcat
Using CATALINA_HOME:   /opt/Alfresco/tomcat
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /opt/Alfresco/tomcat/temp
Using JRE_HOME:       /opt/SUNWappserver/jdk

I go to the http://localhost:8180/share and I get a blank page (I already had an 8080 tomcat install, and checked in the config file that it had installed on port 8180)

I also tried vitual_alf.sh start too, and it made not difference. I tried stopping and get the same message above, and starting and when I navigate to the share, it still just gives a blank page.

Any advice an where I should go next?

Hi,

you should first check

tomcat/logs/catalina.out

then

alfresco.log

for obvious errors.

The same blank initial page after installation on Ubuntu 10.04.
What "obvious" errors meant here?
There is no capability to insert log files into this topic; so I can't determine what errors most important
