Yes - Alfresco WCM can be installed on Tiger (10.4.x) or Leopard (10.5.x).

Refer to README_wcm.txt …
- uncompress/untar on top of your existing Alfresco install
- move wcm-bootstrap-context.xml to tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension
- restart Alfresco

Jan

As a measure of caution, and fearing a breakdown of Alfresco, I took the following steps:

1. Instead of unzipping OVER my installation, I untarred the alfresco-community-wcm-2.1.0.tar.gz ball outside the alfresco folder, in a directory called wcm.
2. Copied the wcm/extras/wcm folder to /alfresco/extras.
3. Copied wcm-bootstrap-context.xml to /tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/
4. Copied /wcm/virtual-tomcat to /alfresco/virtual-tomcat
5. Copied /wcm/virtual_alf.sh to /alfresco/

Before I restart Alfresco, my question is this: Could this procedure be equivalent to unzipping direcly in the /alfresco folder?

Success or failure, I'll post a follow-up. Meanwhile, if you think otherwise please let me know.

Yes, that looks fine. If in doubt (and definately if/when you decide to upgrade Alfresco) you should also perform a backup of your Alfresco system.
