Hello everyone!
I already have a web server configured and running with http server. Now I need to know if I can install alfresco using http server and not tomcat?

What do you mean by "http server",  I think you may have missed a critical part of the name!   

You can run alfresco on any Java Application server.   The commonly supported ones are Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic and WebSphere.    You can probably also run on the others as long as they have a 1.6 JRE.

I mean not an apache tomcat server but another kind of apache server .

Well assuming you mean "apache http server".    The answer is No, as I said above you need an application server.
