I was trying to insert an image to a HTML page using the Alfresco's WYSIWYG HTML editor.  I used the Insert Image icon on the toolbar which requires me to manually type in the URL to the image.  Is there other way this can be done?

i have basically the same question.

short of uploading an image to a remote host and referencing it..is there a better way of attaching image to html content?

Right now the only way I can think of is uploading the image to a space and then using the external url to reference it.

If you are trying to view an image in stored in alfresco you can use the servlet and a ticket which you can read about in the wiki.  If your usecase is more involved, See
