Insert test data

Hi,

I wanna know if someone knows an easy way to populate my database with process instances with a custom create date and end date for each task.

I have a demonstration to do and it's a lot of data to insert and manipulate the create/end date date via SQL. Someone know how to change this values using the API?

Hi Francisco.

I had the similar problem. I needed process engine in state with several active/finished process instances and tasks.
My solutions were:

1. I used java program to prepare initial state of the process engine. Activiti has ClockUtil class to move in time. I integrated program into mvn build so it was executed before tests. 2. I used simulation to simulate users behavior, and services. After the simulation run process engine is initialized.
