inline editing html file under web project

Inline editing of html files under web projects are disabled. Is there is way to enable it?
I can edit content created by web forms online, but I want the ability to edit plain html content online without having download  it  on my desktop.

Inline editing on html pages on other space works http://www.packtpub.com/article/managing-content-in-alfresco
I found old post http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=8209&p=57147&hilit=inline#p57147 relating to this issue but does not offer any solution.
