Initial Document Version

Hi,

Is there anyway of setting the initial document version when we upload a document. Alfresco starts at 1.0. we have quite a few documents and for example would need Alfresco version to begin at 4.6 for a particular document.

A couple of years back I wrote an extension for Alfresco 3.3 that allowed users to pick the starting version of a document.  It's available at [1].

I've since heard that it no longer works in 3.4 or 4.0, but if you'd like to take a look and perhaps even contribute a fix, let me know and I'd be happy to add you as a committer to the project.
