I’ve been trying to send an email to a Share site discussion. Based on the wiki which discusses Alfresco Explorer forums, I was looking for the email to become a post if the subject equals the topic that the user originally entered. This doesn’t seem to work, it just adds the email as a content item in the discussion space. I added the alias to the Discussions space. There does not appear to be a way through the UI to add an alias to a post since Run Action does not appear.
I then tried sending the email with the subject line equal to the “post-xxxxxxxxdate” title that was generated. In this case, the email becomes an association (type attachment) of the topic, but is not visible in the UI.
Has inbound email functionality for Share discussions been implemented yet? If not, anything on the roadmap?
