Import files from server

Hello everyone

I have a bunch of files that I've copied to the same server that hosts Alfresco.

What's the easiest and quickest way to bring these files from their directory on the server into an Alfresco space?  There must be some import facility that allows you to do this?

By the way, I'm running Alfresco on Linux.
