Implement system announcements in 4.1

Hello Guys,

I just need to have a simple system announcement in Alfresco 4.1 similar to this:

this is from the addon:

Alfresco System Messages | Alfresco Add-ons - Alfresco Customizations

Unfortunately this addon covers from 4.2 onwards and I need to implement something similar to this one.

The very minimum requirement is to display a message for everyone to see. Scheduling and message customization same as the addon above would be a big plus but not necessary.

Is this an offer for a small customization job or do you have a specific question that you need to have answered?

Hello Axel, woah I forgot to revisit this query. Turns out this was only a one time requirement that didn't require changing the message from time to time. So we just extended the dashboard title ftl to add the announcement. Anyway thanks for showing interest
