immediate email notification!!

i am getting immediate mail notification for site invite and work flow atarted. Now i need to get the same for document adding and updating in site (as default i am getting mail notification by the end od the day).my requirment is i need to get immediate notification for document addition also … please some one help ….

You will probably be swamped by emails.  But to have an email for every add or update you need to add a policy or rule.
