I have an URGENT issue

I am new in this, so I have a basic question… I have thousands of images to introduce in alfresco, is there any way of introduce them in groups or do I have to introduce one by one?

I really need to do this as fast as possible so please, someone can help me?

The easiest/quickest way would be to use one of the WebDAV, FTP or CIFS interfaces.

E.g. point a webdav client to http://<server>:8080/alfresco/webdav/

I have typed in the same URL in my address bar. and now i am able to see the different directories in the webdav..

Please suggest me as to what should be the next step to add 1000 images lying on my desktop to the space..

Select all your images (better do it in small batches for couple of 100) and drap and drop it. Like you would copy files between two folder.

If you use windows XP, you can use "My Network places"

# AGo to : Start > My Network places,
# Choose another Network location and next,
# Add your webdav alfresco url,
# Type your login and password when a popup appears,
# Change the name if you want…
and finally click on finish.

Now browse Alfresco folder and add your files where you want.
