I can see Alfresco, BUT not Tomcat?

I have installed alfresco 3.1 on Windows.  I can reach http://localhost:8080/alfresco and see the alfresco home page.  However, when I go to http://localhost:8080/, a blank page is rendered when I was expecting the Tomcat home page.

Why is the tomcat homepage not appearing?  How can I get the tomcat homepage to render?

I think this has to do with the share integration. When I redirect / to /alfresco, I get problems with the share urls.

The old Sharepoint integration used to use a ROOT.war, which would prevent you from seeing the Tomcat homepage. However, this is no longer required, so you can remove any ROOT.war you might have previously installed from Alfresco.

Thanks,
Mike

Okay…What I did is download an tomcat separately and copy Tomcat's C:\tomcat\webapps\ROOT folder into Alfresco's C:\alfresco\tomcat\webapps  directory.  Then I was able to get my Tomcat manager application from http://localhost:8080/.
