How we compare the contents of a two versions of a document.

Hi All,

I am new to Alfresco. Currently iam working on LifeRay Portal. We are going to use Alfresco as ECM. I have the following queries. Can any one help me?

1. How can we compare the two versions of a document. Let us assume that  there is a file named Hello.txt in the repository. And i make some changes and the file is checked in. Now the file version is changed to Hello_1.1.(since versioning is enabled). So how can i compare the content or how can i know the newly added content.


2. How can we create custom rules?

3.Can we provide an option of chatting while implementing collaboration?

Just wondering if anyone knows if there's an update on point 1 here. Is there a way to compare the two versions of a document in Alfresco?
