Hi,
I want to prepare big release of site web (during many weeks or months) and in parallel contribute little update everyday.
I don't know how organize my webproject to do this…
This is my constraints :
- I want that many contributors work together on same future website release and so share modified or new contents for this release.
- In same time, i want to be able to contribute news everyday to my "live" website.
- I can prepare many future release in same time
With ONE staging, i mix everyday update and all next releases so it's not good.
Have you an idea to solve this point ?
Is there a simply way to do this ?
How i need to organize webproject to be able to do this ?
Thanks in advance
Best regards.

Hello Pierre,
Can you not start a new web project in parrallel to your current one which you can work on side by side?
You could branch your current site if the new site is to be based on the current. If you needed to share content from the current site you could create a layered folder back to the original.
Regards, Ben.

Ben,
it's a good idea but in this case i need to develop action to submit files from my "future release" web project to "my current site" web project.
I would stay as possible close to out-of-the-box product.
Thanks

What version of Alfresco are you using? Enterprise 2.2 includes the AVM console. Provides access to powerful low level commands. http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/AVM_Console.

I'm using 2.2E but i don't see well how this command can solve my problem ?
My needs is simply to prepare big release by many contributors and in same time be able to do daily update.
In my view, this is a standard process in website management.
I don't think using commands in console to solve my "standard needs" is the best way.
Do you know a more simple, easy-to-use and user-friendly way to do this ?
