I have installed ALfresco 3.4.d CE on Fedora….

he setup is working .. I am able to Upload document.. But by default the document gets stored in alf_data/contentStore/Year/month/date/hr/min..

Is there a way to make the uploaded document categoriezed as per the User Account?

Yes - just replace the code working out the content locations.    Or on Enterprise use policy driven storage.

However you wouldn't be able to do incremental backups and you need to make sure that any scheme you come up with is for example URL safe.
