How to restrict content type usable in a given space?

Can anyone point me at how to set up a rule such that the space it applies to will only accept pdf uploads?

I see 2 ways to do it :
1- You can make a rule which call a script. This script delete or move all documents with wrong format. This is easiest and dirty way…

2- You modify add-content-dialog and you check taht format is pdf, in other case you display on your dialog a warning.

but you need to define a custom space type and associate a different jsp to this space type (take a look on forums implementation…)

I got as far as the custom space template, but how about the rest? Can't find a file system representation of that template. Where would I find this template and how would I have to change it to allow for pdfs only?
