hi there,
I just installed a fresh Afresco 3.4.b. After started the service, I can access http://ps37575.dreamhostps.com:8080/alfresco without any problem. But when I tried to open http://ps37575.dreamhostps.com:7070/ in Word, it cannot work. I tested Word 2010 and Word 2007. Word 2010 would give me nothing even no messagebox. Word 2007 would tell me that the URL is unavailable. And the SharePoint Workspace in Office 2010 would also show nothing. I means when I clicked on OK button, nothing would happened.
What shall I do? thx

Are you sure that you do not have a firewall blocking access to port 7070 on the Alfresco server? I've made that mistake before.

hi,
If I use my browser to access http://xxxxxx:7070/, it would ask me to provide the username and password. I don't think I have any firewall before my server Smiley Happy

I use the installer to install my Alfresco. Have I must do something configuration to make SharePoint work? thx

I've got the same problem.

In the Share interface there should be a button like "edit online". But I can't find it.

That button appears just if you use Internet Explorer and for MS Office extensions only.

No, there I only got "Show in Browser".

Complete:
Download, Show in browser, Edit Metadata, More … (New version, Offline edit, Copy, Move, Remove, Start workflow, Manage access, Manage aspects).

Does I have to configure something?

PS: I used IE9 Beta and a docx file.
