How to import an existing google doc?

I spent some time to google it, but have not found an answer.

Installed Goggle drive locally, but there are only links (1K-size) to real docs and sheets.

If I drag'n'drop that link (in example lhnet.gsheet) into alfresco document library, alfresco can't identify it as google sheet.

I found that https://community.alfresco.com/message/680767-re-upload-files-from-google-drive?commentID=680767#com...

But there was no solution.

I tried https://community.alfresco.com/thread/214692-alfresco-chrome-extension-to-upload-files but could not specify the directorySmiley Happy

Than I found 2 things: 1) https://github.com/Alfresco/google-docs/tree/V3.0.3 and

2) in https://community.alfresco.com/docs/DOC-6300-alfresco-community-edition-201606-ea-release-notes

...

 ....

....

And which one of that and how could I use to place my existing google doc into alfresco?

Thanks.

If you read the README of the Google Docs module it states: "This extension adds the ability to edit supported content items in Google Docs™ to the Alfresco repository and Share interface." So this allows you to export a document from Alfresco into Google Docs (Google Drive) for editing (potentially simultaneously with other users) and pull those changes back into Alfresco. It does not mention importing pre-existing documents from Google Drive into Alfresco. This is exactly the restriction that Jeff Potts highlighted in his response to the thread you linked.

Yes, I read the README. But the question was - how to importSmiley Happy

Or, in another words, what I have to do to import.

Now I download i.e. googlesheet as an MS xls and then import. Not very pretty, but works.

Anyway, thanks for your time.
