How to import Activiti Designer sources into PDE

To investigate some modifications to Activiti Designer I'd like to import the Designer source projects into Eclipse PDE.
I've checked out the source from Subversion and I'm able to build with Tycho.
Now I'm strugge with materializing the proper target platform.
Is there a document which would descripe this step?
