How to get content published to portal after deployed using

Hi,

I am using Alfresco 3.1 with Liferay 5.2.3 over JBoss 4.2.3.Its working fine.I have created a test web project & configured an FSR server to deploy content.I am successful in exporting content from Staging sandbox of project to a particular location in server.But i am not getting what i need to do further to publish the content(a static HTML) to portal.
                         Is it necessary that we must have alfresco as a portlet inside liferay to publish content.If not how can we see the thus deployed content on portal.

You'll need to configure a portal for the static html file. You could try and use the FSR to do this using the postCommit call back http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/FSR#postCommit_callback.
