How to extend properties-files (I18N)?

Hi,

What's the best way to extend to properties-files (I18N) for an existing Share component? Seems we have to copy the complete file to an extension directory to extend it (which might be an issue with upgrades)?
Or is there any way to include the original properties file via a NLS_INCLUDES-like functionality?

Currently you have to copy the entire file, there's no "include" mechanism.
