Hi, my friends

I am new to Alfresco.
I have installed normally Alfresco Lab3 (windows version) on my computer. After importing a .war file to a new web project that I created, I click 'preview website'.
The browser displayed 'Failed to connect'.
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at admin.evaluateit.www–sandbox.127-0-0-1.ip.alfrescodemo.net:8180.

Connection address is ' http://admin.evaluateit.www--sandbox.127-0-0-1.ip.alfrescodemo.net:8180/'

Could anybody help me?

Thank you in advance!

Jon

Hi,
Is your virtual server is started or not(to view your project we have to start virtual server),

and in your connection settings copy your ip address if you are using any virtual machine copy that ip address also.

Hi jon,

At the time of cteating webproject in third step it will ask these details,in this page click on Add File System Receiver (FSR) you will get one page to set up your server configuratios,

Step Three - Configure Deployment Servers
Configure deployment servers for the web project.

Add Alfresco Server Receiver (ASR)   Add File System Receiver (FSR)
No deployment servers have been configured.

and difference is between virtual server and alfresco server, the virtual server is for preview purpose after starting this server only you can able to see your project preview and alfresco server will do rest of the things.
