How to delete a connection

I'm using Activiti Designer to create the workflow. While designing it on eclipse, I ended up putting in a wrong connection b/w two tasks. I want to delete this connector arrow. I'm unable to delete this connector. There is no delete button coming up on hovering/clicking on the connecting arrow. Right click doesn't show the delete option. Also, selecting the connector and hitting delete key doesn't help either. How can I delete this connecting arrow ? I just tried that and selecting the connector and hitting delete worked for me. Is the file read only perhaps?

No, the file is not read only. I'm able to delete other components such as user tasks or gateways. I ended up deleting the components it was connected to. The connector got deleted once there was no component connected to it.

I'm using Eclipse Kepler and Activiti Eclipse BPMN 2.0 Designer - Version 5.14.0
